Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders. Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation support. Manage and monitor patients on ventilators, adjusting settings as necessary in collaboration with physicians. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry. Respond to emergency situations such as code blue, rapid response, or trauma cases. Educate patients and families about respiratory care, disease management, and use of respiratory equipment (e.g., inhalers, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen systems).
