Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring residents’ conditions. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Perform comprehensive assessments and document residents’ medical status and progress accurately. Respond promptly to changes in residents’ health status and communicate with physicians and families as needed. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures. Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and health maintenance. Promote resident rights, safety, and quality of life within the facility. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
